Pontispool Camp 2012
Our camp this year is from 8th to 10th June (11th if you are staying in the Long Barn) and will be held at Pontispool. Booking will be taken from 1st January 2012 on a first come first served basis. You must have rejoined the club to place a booking.

Cost
Cabins
The cost of camp if you are staying in the cabins will be £130.00. This includes lessons, food, and accommodation in the cabins, stabling, bedding (Straw only) & hay.
A deposit of £50.00 must be paid with the booking form. This deposit is refundable in full if you cancel before 12th May 2012. After this date the deposit is only returnable if your place can be filled.
Long Barn
The cost of camp if you are staying in the Long Barn is £250.00. This includes lessons, food (not Sunday night), and accommodation in the Long Barn, stabling, bedding (Straw only) & hay.
A deposit of £120 must be paid with the booking form. This deposit is NON REFUNDABLE unless your place can be filled by another person.
Over Subscription
In the event of oversubscription there will be a waiting list for the Camp. This will be on a first come first served basis. Cheques will only be cashed in the event of a place becoming available for camp and you will be contacted before the cheque is cashed to confirm that you still want the place.
Payment for camp must be made in full by 12th May 2012. If payment is not received by then your place is forfeit and your deposit will not be returned. You are welcome to pay in installments. Please speak to Kim to arrange this or attach postdated cheques with booking form. Payments must be made by cheque. If you wish to pay with cash you must arrange this in advance with Kim and get a receipt for each payment.
Timetable
The timetable has not been decided completely yet. We are thinking of offering 4 lessons this year. We will be sending out another letter regarding the timetable and what people want to do in the spring. If you have any suggestions please let Kim know.
General
This camp is only open to members who are 18 and over. The club and camp is run on a voluntary basis and it is generally felt that we are not in a position to cater to the additional needs that having minors present would create. There is also an insurance implication regarding the position of the club should an accident befall a minor.
We would recommend that members take out insurance to safeguard against cancellation.
If you are staying in the Long Barn and wish to ride on the Monday you will need to make separate arrangement with Pontispool to do so.

There is an indoor pool in the Long Barn which everyone is welcome to use so bring your swimming costume.

Hard feed
Hay for your journey home.
Shavings - If you need/want to use shavings they must be bought from home and removed at end of weekend.
Sleeping bags, pillows, duvets, Towels etc (unless in Long Barn)
Mucking out equipment (barrows are there for use)
Bring a torch
Don’t forget - WATER BUCKETS (like I did last year!!)
And Alcohol!!!!!!
And Chocolate!!!!!
