Prelim Classes are split into Open – Combination (Horse & Rider) have won dressage at prelim level twice or more. Restricted – Combination have not won dressage at prelim level twice.

Walk & trot tests: If you have been placed 1^st – 3^rd in the Walk & Trot class, you will be moved into the Open section.

Entry Fees: Members - £6.00, Non Members £8.00, Juniors £7.00 (under 16)

Please send entry and cheque to Cheryl Carlton, 8 Bristol Road, Dunball, Bridgwater, Somerset, TA6 4TN or hand in person at “The Admirals Table”, Dunball. Times will be on the website from Thursday or phone (01278) 685671 or 07891 499805 between 7-9pm.

Entries close on the Monday before the competition. NO LATE ENTRIES. Entries may be limited.

 RULES AND CONDITIONS

1. The Judges decision is final.

2. All competitors take part at their OWN RISK and are expected to exercise due care at all times and obey all notices displayed. The organisers and the land owners accept NO responsibility for any loss, damage or injury that may be sustained in connection with the show to any person, animal or property. It shall be a condition of entry that competitors will hold the organisers blameless and indemnify them against any loss, damage or legal proceedings.

3. Hard hats, to BHS specification, MUST be worn at all times whilst mounted or competing.

4. Correct rider dress is expected in all arena’s.

5. The committee reserves the right to cancel, add or alter any class they see fit. Classes may be split or combined if entries warrant.

6. No cantering or galloping is permitted outside rings or practice arenas.

7. Horses and ponies must be kept under control and animals inclined to kick must wear a red ribbon.

8. No horse or pony under 4 years to be ridden.

9. Dogs must be kept on leads

10. Entry fees will not be refunded after the closing date.

11. All accidents/incidents/falls must be reported to the secretary whether or not first aid is given.

12. Complaints to secretary within 30 minutes from end of class with £20.00 deposit. Deposit is forfeit if complaint is overruled.

13. Please do not muck out lorries onto the car park.

14. Please ensure all litter is disposed of correctly.

15. No lunging.
